The Bruner-Loeb Forum was created as a platform to advance creative thinking about urban placemaking by bringing together practitioners working in different fields for candid conversations about real world opportunities and challenges.

Sponsored by the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence and the Harvard Loeb Fellowship in partnership with local organizations, 18 forums have been held in over a dozen cities. Each forum is framed around a specific issue or question posed by the host organization with the goal of sharing resources, fostering dialogue, and generating ideas that could be applied by people working on the ground in the community and elsewhere in America.

Each event brings together a diverse, interdisciplinary group of about 100 people working in the local host community and elsewhere across the country for 1 to 1-1/2 days of presentations, tours, and energetic discussion and exchanges of ideas.
